CBA Statement on Recent Protests

The Cincinnati Bar Association stands in full support of the statement made by the Black Lawyers Association of Cincinnati. We intend to work with the BLAC to bring about real sustained change in our community.

The CBA denounces the killing of George Floyd last week in Minnesota and the long history of grave injustices committed against African Americans.

The CBA is committed to assisting the BLAC as it works to help the community navigate the legal system and improve the administration of justice. The justice system operates through the efforts of our profession, and, as such, we must act in this time of crisis. The BLAC statement can be read here.
