HISTORICAL CONTENT
150 years is a lot of ground to cover! We’re mining the past for gems to share today – and in the future. From digitizing old reel-to-reels and cassettes to transferring old texts to a digital format, we’ve got a lot of history to share with you, in two primary ways:
• CBA CELEBRATES 150 TIMELINE:
We’re working on a digital, interactive, multimedia timeline on our website that will take a comprehensive look at some of the most important moments of our organization’s history.
• TELL ME ABOUT:
In the legendary tradition of oral storytelling, CBA President-Elect Steve Richey is spearheading an oral history project, to be formatted and
released as free podcasts. Stay tuned
for the drop.

EVENTS
What’s a celebration without congregation? We’re looking forward to convening over the course of 2022 to celebrate our milestone anniversary in person, with two events taking the spotlight:
• CBA CELEBRATES 150:
Join us for a very special celebration, combined with our annual meeting, at the Anderson Pavilion on
the Banks in downtown Cincinnati, to be held on Thursday, June 9.
• KICK IT AT TQL:
Come out to TQL Stadium and kick it with your fellow CBA members at our rescheduled all-member
social in September.

YEARS
The times may have changed but the CBA’s mission remains the same: to promote professional excellence, foster justice, serve our members and educate the public. With that spirit in mind, we’re rolling out a robust pro- bono service project. The CBA will sponsor 3-4 service projects this year – and attorneys who participate will be recognized in many ways.
What better way to learn from the past than to learn about the past! Join special presenters for an illuminating (and CLE-credit-earning!) dive into a handful of famous Cincinnati-based cases of the last 150 years. Cincinnati has put the law under a microscope and changed the face of history – so let’s take a closer look together.
