Hymore provides intellectual property clear- ance, use, protection, and enforcement strategies related to trademarks, patents, copyrights, and trade secrets. She also counsels on intellectual property portfolio management, advertising, privacy, licensing, and disputes. She will further work with the firm’s growing Startup & Venture Law Practice Group to help startup, venture- backed, and growth-stage companies develop comprehensive IP strategies that support their vision and business needs. Prior to joining Ulmer, Hymore worked for 12 years as in-house counsel for The Procter & Gamble Company. Hymore is active in the local startup commu- nity and serves as a mentor with Alloy Development Co. She also serves on the External Advisory Council of Miami University’s College of Engineering and Computing. Licensed to practice in Ohio and before the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, Hymore earned her under- graduate degree in engineering management and manufacturing engineering from Miami University, and her J.D. with honors from the Chicago-Kent College of Law at the Illinois Institute of Technology.
