Appleton worked closely with the company and the Scripps family for many years before joining the company. He served as outside corporate legal counsel for 30 years with Baker Hostetler, leading legal proceedings for Scripps’ initial public offering in 1988 and for the 2008 spinoff that split the company into two public compa- nies – The E.W. Scripps Company and Scripps Networks Interactive.

Childs received her J.D. from the Univer- sity of Cincinnati College of Law.

While in law school, Redlinger served as a judi- cial extern for the Honorable David W. McKeague, Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the Honorable Matthew W. McFarland, Southern District of Ohio. Redlinger earned her B.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Cincin- nati, Carl H. Lindner College of Business in 2018, magna cum laude. Redlinger is admitted to practice law in Ohio.
