Michael S. Glassman
1952 – 2023
Michael S. Glassman passed away at age 71 on November 30, 2023. He is survived by his beloved wife, Char- lene Glassman, as well as his loving and devoted daughters, Ami (Joshua) Ackerman, Ashley (Robb) Stokar, Brooke Glassman, and their families.
Mike was raised in Toledo, Ohio. He graduated from the University of Cincinnati College of Law and joined Dinsmore & Shohl upon graduation in 1976. He spent his entire career at Dinsmore representing clients in the labor and employment prac- tice group. Mike was viewed by clients as an excellent attorney who often became their friend. He was also viewed by many attorneys as a great mentor and received Dinsmore’s Mentor of the Year award.
Mike also served the community in a variety of roles with Adath Israel Synagogue, Jewish Vocational Services and the Cincinnati Contemporary Arts Center. Mike served on the Board of the Cincinnati Center for Autism and served as the President of his Homeowners Association for the last four years, as well as serving on the finance committee. He was also active profes- sionally with the Cincinnati Bar Association and the global Employment Law Alliance. He was also recognized as an Ohio Super Lawyer, Best Lawyers in American and Chambers.
Most important to Mike was his family. This was amply demonstrated at his memorial service where his three daughters recognized him in special ways for his role as a father and grand- father. Mike valued his family and wife as the most important aspect of his life.
Comments by family members and clients refer to Mike as a fine human being who was compassionate and generous with his time and support of others. Mike leaves a lasting memory of one of the good guys and a wonderful man, husband, father, grandfa- ther and great lawyer and mentor. We should all be fortunate and strive to leave such a legacy.

Donald H. Webb
1953 – 2023
Don Webb, a former Public Defender, began his career as a Magistrate with the Hamilton County Juvenile Court in 1989. Don remained at the Court for the next 32 years! He retired on the last day of 2023. Don was a highly regarded and trusted Magistrate. Don presided over
thousands of cases, variously including Child Abuse and Neglect Complaints, Custody Petitions, Parentage Actions and most numerous of all, Juvenile Delinquency and Criminal Matters. Don was often assigned to the most difficult and challenging cases.
Don was known by all to be a kind person, with a constant smile — constant optimism. He was very intelligent and had a solid knowledge and command of the law. He helped so many families through crisis and guided wayward youth toward a better path. He was always quick with humor and encouragement. Don was beloved by the Juvenile Court family of Judges, Magistrates, probation officers, court clerks and others. Don was greatly respected amongst the lawyers, doctors and social workers who came before his bench.
Don is survived by his wife Kathy. They were married for over 40 years. Don and Kathy have two sons, Mark and Daniel, four grandchildren and a host of friends.
Don left the world a better place through his life’s work. He was a tremendous Magistrate, a great colleague and a close friend.
— Respectfully submitted Judge Thomas R. Lipps, retired
