Property Tax Reductions 101:
How to Navigate the Board of Revision

Did a client recently receive a surprisingly high
property tax bill?

Consider applying for a reduction of the property’s
taxable value. Your county’s board of revision will
conduct a hearing, and you and your client will bear the
burden of proving that the property was over-valued.

If the board reduces the property’s value, the new value
will apply to future tax years, which will save money on
tax bills well into the future.
Jeff Levine will explain the intricacies to this process and
how to optimize the opportunity for a value reduction.
