CALL Accepting Applications
The CBA is accepting applications for the 2025 Cincinnati Academy of Leadership for Lawyers (CALL), an innovative program focusing on practical, ethical, and profes- sional issues facing lawyers. Each winter, 25-32 attorneys are selected to participate in CALL. By training lawyers in leadership, professionalism, and community service, CALL provides a lasting impact that reaches beyond the bench and bar. More than 500 lawyers have graduated from CALL; many of these lawyer-leaders are now serving in community courts, non-program boards, and law-related organizations.
The CALL program is designed to increase awareness and evoke reflection. It reminds us that there are no clear paths to follow in leadership. Through self-examina- tion and assessment, each CALL graduate becomes an educator for others in the legal profession and their surrounding commu- nities. Sessions meet monthly from January to May. Participants must have five years of legal experience beyond law school.
For more information or to request an application, contact Kate Lawrence at (513) 699-1401 or klawrence@cincybar.org.
