As the Managing Helpline Attorney, Walters leads a team of attor- neys who assist older adults facing civil legal issues. During his career, Walters has person- ally assisted more than 20,000 clients, a tremendous accomplishment. Walters is presi- dent of the National Association of Senior Legal Helplines, assistant chair for the Statewide Legal Aid Utilities Subgroup of the Consumer Task- force, and a CBA Social Security Law Committee member.
